Mr and Mrs Cruz opened Willows View Asylum for those with money to send their sick relatives into their care. The Cruz family has always had a history of mental illness and to help protect their relatives and cure them they decided to build a retreat…an Asylum for the mentally ill.

Those with enough money to pay for the medical treatment send their relatives there. The Asylum deals with people aged 12+ and will look after those with long term mental illnesses to those who might be there for a few weeks.

“I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside.”

The Asylum uses the latest treatment and therapies to treat its patients and is funded by the government, it can be found deep in the countryside of the Cotswolds, England. Where they hope the clean air will help cure. People fly from all over the world to this highly respected asylum.

Some patients are very ill others just wanting attention, either way the team of doctors aim to help the people that are admitted there.
